Todays wedding was Fantastic (yes with a capital F!) Kaye and Chris are the Bride and Groom and as you can see in their SP what a beautiful Bride she made! There are lots more to come but I promised them a SP before they go off for their honeymoon. So here it is Mr and Mrs, your first shoot as husband and wife. It was a beautiful wedding in a stunning church and although we had a couple of moments where we thought it might rain it held off for all the important bits! Thank you for the honer of photographing your beautiful wedding guys, hope you like the Sneak Peek and I will be in touch after your honeymoon, have an amazing time x

Sneak Peek... Jim and Annika

Here is another of my lovely couples due to get married in September. For their Engagement shoot we decided to head to their wedding venue, the super gorgeous St Giles House, a boutique hotel in Norwich. The room they are getting married in is spectacular (I will save these shots for later!) but as you can see so is the beautiful frontage of the building which made for some great dramatic shots. Having already had a Lifestyle Shoot they were a dab hand at posing and looked really comfortable in front of the camera which will be great on their wedding day! More to come soon and look out for a post on their vintage inspired wedding later in the year, which I cannot wait to shoot!

Sneak Peek... Charlotte and Carl...

The first of my two Engagement Shoots today was the fab Carl and Charlotte. Charlotte had expressed to me before the shoot that as they had never had professional shots done together as a couple they were a little nervous. However they both took to it like ducks to water and relaxed quickly in to the shoot. We started at their home where I met the most gorgeous kitten I have ever seen - Toulouse (he even came pretty close to my own kitty!) and got a few sneaky shots of the three of them! Then we headed down to the stunning Eaton park in Norwich, just a few minutes from their home where we spent most of the time shooting around the gorgeous Band Stand and Lake. We were almost finished when the rain started coming down and we made a dash for it back to the cars! Here is their Sneak Peek...

Thank you for a lovely morning guys and the absolute pleasure of meeting the gorgeous Toulouse, I can't wait to come back and see him (and you two!) in a couple of weeks! x

Sneak Peek... Sam and Natalie

I had a lovely day today in beautiful Norwich doing two Engagement Shoots and a Family Shoot. My second Shoot of the day was Sam and the very beautiful Natalie. The sun was well and truly beating down as we headed for their chosen location the lovely Oaklands Hotel where they will be getting married in September 2011! We had a great time shooting in the grounds and even managed to take a few sneaky ones in the hotel (like the one below) where there was also another wedding going on today giving the place a great celebratory feel and making their Engagement shoot all the more exciting! They were great to shoot and Natalie had stunning big blue eyes and the longest legs I have ever seen (!) that have made for some great shots, but for now here is their Sneak Peek...

Thank you for a lovely afternoon guys and I look forward to seeing you in a few weeks x

Oh my, Oh my, Oh my....

Oh my..... Being a bit of a blog nerd, or just a wee bit nosey, I often find myself surfing the net for anything lovely and bridal and inspiring. With that in mind today I came accross the oh so amazing Magpie Vintage. There is very little to say about these stunning bridal accessories except... Oh my! Check them out if you dare although you may not be able to resist the sparkles! Above is a wee taster of what the rest of the site holds. Oh and sorry this is not a photo post but I couldn't resist sharing this! x

A City Engagement... Sneak Peek...

Nic and Jude have an equally fantastic meeting and Engagement story that began when they met at Norwich University. They actually moved in to Halls of residence and lived next door to each other before became friends and then got together! Both being from different parts of the country Jude from Essex and Nic from Northampton not only did they fall in love with each other but also the beautiful city of Norwich which is where after finishing Uni they both decided to settle. Nic took Jude on a city break to Dublin where being a big whisky drinker they decided to go on a Jamesons tour. After a few 'tastings' Nic popped the big question and Jude said.... YES!
For their engagement shoot we went down to the beautiful Norwich Cathedral and then Nic gave me a tour through the back streets of Norwich back to their home. We got this shot after I had 'finished' Shooting but with Jude's spotty dress it is one of my faves.

This shoot also finished with an ice cream but sadly not for me as I had already had my quota at the beach that morning! Thanks for the city tour Nic and a lovely afternoon getting to know you both. x

A Caribbean Engagement... Sneak Peek...

I have a couple of special Sneak Peeks for you this morning from two rather different Engagement Shoots each with rather exciting engagement stories!
The first is this gorgeous couple below who's romantic story starts with them having been together since school and all through Louise's degree and masters at Loughborough University! Chris decided to pop the question and took Louise to Barbados, yes Barbados, for her birthday where he asked Louise to marry him on the Beach - how could Louise have said anything but YES! They decided to have their shoot on Wells Beach to mirror their engagement location and although its not quite Barbados, the weather was beautiful and the beach huts made for an amazing backdrop. Here is their Sneak Peek...

Thank you for a lovely morning guys and for the ice cream!

If you go down to the woods today...

A few weeks ago I met up with this gorgeous couple for an Engagement Shoot that they had won at a recent wedding show. They had the great idea of going down to the woods close to their home where they often go for walks. Catherine thought of wearing her wellies and despite being one of the hottest days of the year I think you will all agree that the splash of red in the lush green woods was a great call! The shoot happened to clash with the biggest football game of the year so far (I think we all know which one I mean, the less said about that the better) but after a boiling hot couple of hours we all made it home to catch the game! I am now thrilled that they have decided to use me for their wedding photographs and look forward to shooting them in a slightly cooler climate in October 2011!

A Riverside Engagement...

I met up with this gorgeous couple today, exactly 2 months before their wedding day, for their Engagement Shoot in sunny Norwich. We had a really good look round their venue and then went down to the riverside and Cathedral for their shoot. The weather was beautiful and they were very brave having their shots in rather public locations but it made for some great photos.
Thank you for a lovely afternoon in the sunshine guys and I can't wait for your wedding! x

A Country Affair...

I am thrilled that I have been included on the recommended supplier list at the amazing Chaucer Barn in North Norfolk. Having just recently received their wedding licence the barn is the ultimate venue for a chic country style wedding with all the high end luxury of a top hotel. I recently met the owner Debbie and although it was a bit of a wet and windy day the venue and gardens looked stunning. The accommodation is beautiful, with each room individually designed giving a real boutique feel to the venue. the Bridal suits is also out of this world with the centre of attention on the most stunning four poster bed I have ever seen. If you have not yet settled on a venue then I highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Birthday Baby.... Sneak Peek...

Today I had the immense pleasure of photographing this little girlie on her very first Birthday! This is the kind of shoot that reminds me why I love my job so much, to be able to capture this family on such a momentous occasion was a real honer as I know these images will quite literally last a lifetime. She was posing like a pro all morning and loved the attention with mummy and daddy and both sets of grandparents round to create lots of entertainment and the odd cuddle!

Thank you for a perfect morning guys and I hope that you enjoyed your afternoon tea! x

Brilliant British Engagement... Sneak Peek...

Tonight I met the lovely Julia and Dale for an Engagement Shoot that they won from a recent Wedding Show. They are a lovely couple and Dale is a real joker so the shoot was really great fun! They have been together for 8 years and actually met on the bus to college... how romantic! Dale has an equally romantic Engagement story which I will keep a secret for them! We went over to the beautiful Sandringham Estate which at 6.30pm was lovely and quite apart form the odd dog walker. They were up for anything and we had a great time walking round the grounds getting some lovely natural shots as well a some slightly funkier shots like the one below which I managed to get between Dale whispering in Julia's ear trying to make her laugh!

Thanks for a lovely evening guys and I hope you enjoyed your Samphire! x

A Little Piece of English Paradise...

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting what I believe to be the 'next big wedding venue in Norfolk'. We have all heard of the big ones, Weston Park, Hunters Hall, The Assembly Rooms but has anyone heard of Narborough Hall? Having just recently received their wedding licence, as wedding venues go, it is quite simply a hidden gem!

I met Joanne who owns, lives in and runs the Hall and had the immense pleasure of a tour round the stunning gardens which, on a warm summers morning, were simply heavenly!

The beautiful gardens comprise of many different areas including; a walled kitchen garden, bridal garden, a plum bordered garden, pastel garden, lake - complete with lily pads, river frontage, a dragon adorned boat house, woodman's lodge, the tree house you dreamt of as a child and even an outdoor walled swimming pool (perfect for floating candles on your wedding evening). The grounds are so beautiful they are even featured in this months Country Living Magazine!

Joanne believes in keeping the grounds very natural and in doing so has the most beautiful natural plants, wildlife and stunning meadows. As you may already know this fits like a glove with my ethos of natural, beautiful wedding photography, capturing the magic as it happens and so I am thrilled to be included as their recommended photographer.

Whilst this hidden gem is still a bit of a secret the prices are incredibly reasonable and as the house is a home as well as a business they only take limited numbers of wedding bookings per year making it one of the more exclusive venues in Norfolk.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the venue and am already excited to book my first wedding at this little piece of English paradise.

Sneak Peek... An English Garden

I have had a slightly crazy few days what with a trip to a seminar in London, Taverham Hall Midsummer Ball shoot, and a wedding! But today I drove over to Thetford in the sunshine to meet a lovely bride and groom for their Engagement Shoot. They took me to the sweetest little English park just a stroll from their home and although I was 'technically' working strolling around the park, chatting about their wedding plans and taking a few pics felt more like a day off! They were a joy to shoot and so clearly very much in love. Thanks for a lovely afternoon guys and here is your sneak peek... x

Ice creams and Sunshine...

You may remember Anne and Dan's Sneak Peek from a couple of weeks ago. We had a lovely afternoon down at the beach, shading at the beach huts, paddling in the sea and eating ice creams! The following day I had a lovely email from Dan (who is a very keen photographer himself - Website) which said:

'Thanks so much for the photo shoot, we both really enjoyed it and are looking forward to seeing the pictures. It was like a day down the beach with friends and nothing like we imagined a photo shoot would be. Brilliant.'

I try really hard to make my couples feel as relaxed and at ease in front of the camera as possible and this is comment speaks volumes, thanks you so much guys! Enjoy x
